How do I cancel my membership?

We’re sorry to hear you may want to cancel your monthly or annual membership. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you. Please send all inquiries regarding cancellation to support@crystalinnercircle.com.

How do I change my email address?
  1. Click on “My Homepage” in the menu on the left hand side.
  2. Once on your profile, click “Settings” on the right side of the menu below your cover image.
  3. Under the “General” tab (which should already be selected) you can change your email and current password. You must enter your current password, then erase your current email and enter your new email. If you password is staying the same, leave the bottom two boxes blank. Please click “Save Changes” before proceeding.

How do I update my credit card data?

For your security and peace of mind The Crystal Inner Circle DOES NOT store your credit card data on our servers.  For this reason you cannot update the card that is currently being billed.

If your old card has expired, or wish to change credit cards for any reason simply do the following:

  1. Wait until your next billing cycle (monthly or annual).
  2. The next time you login to the site, you will be told your membership is inactive.
  3. At this time click on the “levels” button, and select your membership level.
  4. Enter your new payment information.
  5. SUCCESS, your credit card data is now updated!

Forum Questions

How do I comment on the forum?
  1. Select the title of the post you want to comment on from the list of forum topics.
  2. In the right corner of the post click on “Reply”.
  3. Type your comment into the box provided.
  4. You can leave tags on your comment (such as crystals or topics mentioned) but this is completely optional.
  5. When you are done with your comment, click on “Submit”.
  6. The same applies to replying to a comment directly. You can just click on “Reply” inside their comment.

How do I edit my forum posts?

  4. After editing you can scroll down to edit the tags, the forum it is posted in (if you accidentally posted in the wrong one), or change if you want to receive email notifications on the topic.
  5. You will also see an option that says “Keep a log of this edit”. This is completely optional. You can uncheck the box if you’d like to edit the post without a “record” of the event. Alternately, you can leave the box checked and then enter a reason in the box below such as “edited for spelling” or “posted in the wrong forum”.

General Questions

How do I ask a question?

We have divided up the Crystal Inner Circle into Communities.  Each is focused on an element or area of expertise in a certain field.  But don’t let that be much of an issue if you have a question.  We have hundreds of experts here to answer your questions or advice you.  Here is how to get to them.
Go to any community.  If you are not sure which one, go to the Crystal Healing Community.  Once there, go to the FORUM.  This is where you can easily ask any question and engage the entire community to get advice and answers.
This sentence is a link there to  make that super easy.

Once there just start a new thread and ask away.  Scroll to the bottom of the page and fill in the blank form.  It just needs a subject and your question or comment.

How do I comment on a blog post?
  1. Click on the blog post so you are in full view/full read mode.
  2. Once you have read the post, scroll down and you will see a comment box under “Leave a Reply”. Type your reply in the comment box provided.
  3. When you are done leaving your reply, click on the button that says “Post Comment”.
  4. You can also reply directly to another user’s comment by clicking “Reply” under their comment.

How do I invite a friend?

Submissions

How do I Schedule an Open Chat?

Screenshot 2016-01-01 21.09.18The chat rooms are available to be scheduled if you want to host a chat and have us advertise it.  Send a note to the Community Coordinator of the Community Chat room you want to schedule.  (If you don’t know the email, send one to support@crystalinnercircle.com and we will sort it out.  We will post a notice on the Community page and post a blog post for you.  Remember to give us a good blog post that helps people learn something and then encourages them to learn more by joining the chat.

How do I send in a proposed blog post or Library item?

Screenshot 2016-01-01 10.26.55Everyone can comment on Blog posts, participate in Chats, post and respond to topics in the Forums,  read Library articles and view Library videos.  We do have the Community Coordinators post blogs.  Each of the Communities has a Community Coordinator.  Their contact information is on each Community Home Page.

The Community Coordinators are part of the Crystal Inner Circle staff.  Their job is to assure the Community is vibrant, informative, interesting, timely, and operating according to our rules.  One of their responsibilities is to review blog submissions, make sure they are formatted, have a feature image, and are appropriate for the Community.

The basic rule is that blog posts provide value as a stand alone entry.  Certainly you can write a post about a class or seminar you are offering, but you need to make the post informative on its own.  Summarizing the first chapter or first hour of a seminar and providing honest value will get such an article posted.

We take them in Microsoft word format.  We can just copy and paste it into the site’s blog forms.  Add any graphics right in the article.  Put your complete (3 lines max) signature block at the bottom.  Send it by email to the Community Coordinator.  His or her email is right by their photo on the Community’s home page.

If you cannot find that, send them to support@crystalinnercircle.com and tell us which community you are submitting to and we will take it from there.

 

How do I accept a “Friend” request

Friends RequestGo to your Home Page where you will see a tab labelled “FRIENDS.”  Click it.  You will see a page that has two tabs “FRIENDSHIPS” and next to it “REQUESTS.”  Click the Requests Tab and you will see a listing of Friends requests with “ACCEPT” and “REJECT” buttons.

How do I add/remove a friend?

You may want to first view “How do I find friends?”

Adding a Friend

  1. Click on the user’s name or image in the forum, comments on the blog, in the member directory, or in the chat room. You will be taken to their profile page.
  2. Right next to the user’s profile image, click the box that reads “Add Friend”.
  3. After you add them as a friend you can also “Cancel Friendship Request” if you change your mind or clicked it by accident. This will cancel the request to the user and they will not see it.

Deleting a Friend

  1. Click on the user’s name or image in the forum, comments on the blog, in the member directory, or in the chat room. You will be taken to their profile page.
  2. Right next to the user’s profile image, click the box that reads “Cancel Friendship”.
  3. Alternately, you can go to your own profile by clicking “My Homepage” on the main menu on the left.
  4. Once in your profile select the menu option for “Friends”.
  5. Here you can go through all of your current friends and end any friendships you choose by selecting “Cancel Friendship” below their name.

How do I change my cover photo?

How do I change my Profile picture

To add one or change it go to your Home Page (use the link at the top of the left hand menu.  Once there click on the tab that says Change Profile Photo.

 

You will see a large box with the words DROP YOUR FILES HERE OR SELECT YOUR FILE.

A photo about 300 px by 300 px works well.  You will get a preview that has bounding boxes to crop it larger or smaller.  Use the box and set the picture as you want it to be.

How do I change my profile privacy?

  3. Inside settings click the tab for “Profile Visibility”.
  4. From here you can make specific parts of your profile, such as your birthday, only visible to you, visible to everyone, or visible to friends only.
  5. After you have finished editing all of your settings, click on “Save Settings” at the bottom.

How do I enter a signature block?

NOTE: Our rules (linked in the footer of the site) limit signature blocks on posts to three lines.  

This WordPress-based site does not have an automatic “add signature block” feature like your email probably does.  So you will need to end all your blog comments, your forum discussions and comments with it manually.  Please also include it as the last three lines of any blog posts or Library items you submit to the Community Coordinator to post.

It does say “three lines” up there.  It is an arbitrary number of lines, but should be adequate for anyone to use to help people know a bit about them and to find them in email or on the web to learn more.  No one want to read comments and 15 lines of “advertising” so please be succinct in your signature block.  I don’t count the words, or make you use tiny fonts.  I am asking for cooperation and consideration in this .
BTW you can tailor your signature block to the time and place you are posting.  Here is an example.

How do I find another user’s information?

How do I Post My Resume & Contact Information?

Click “Edit” in the center of the screen to add or edit your profile information.

How do I send a private note to someone?

Screenshot 2016-01-01 20.58.41First go to “Find other users.  Find the persons name and copy that.  You will need it.  Then, go to your Personal Home page.  There you will find a button that is called “Messages.” Click on it. That will bring you to a page where you can review your messages and you can “compose” one.    Click “compose.” You will need to know the persons name.  You enter the name, add your message and send away.  Screenshot 2016-01-01 20.58.56
